Vitamin deficiency in ADHD patients

A study conducted by researchers at K.G. Jebsen Centre for Research on Neuropsychiatric Disorders reveals that people with ADHD have lower levels of B2, B6 and B9-vitamins. It also shows that ADHD patients are overrepresented in both the group with lowest and those with the highest levels of vitamin D in the body.

The 15th International Edvard Grieg Piano Competition was held in Bergen, Norway, October 11-18, 2014. Stiftelsen Kristian Gerhard Jebsen  was the main sponsor and the exclusive private contributor to the competition in 2016. The total contribution from the foundation was 3.8 MNOK.

Evaluation Report

Since 2010 Stiftelsen Kriristian Gerhard Jebsen has funded altogether 14 K.G. Jebsen Centers for Medical research at Norwegian medical faculties and university hospitals. The program has been evaluated by professor Mats Benner (Lund University) and professor Lars Terenius (Karolinska Institutet).
